The Grapes of Wrath
The Grapes of Wrath in my opinion is one of THE 'Great' movies.
Based on a book written by John Steinbeck the movie directed by John Ford takes a warts and all view of one family's horrific trek from Oklahoma to California.
The movie is based around the time of the Great Depression and stars Henry Fonda , but to me the real star of the movie is Jane Darwell who plays the matriarch of the Joad family.
