Captain Corelli's Mandolin

For me this movie took a while to get into! It took way too long to establish the characters. OK having said that I must say that I finished up thoroughly enjoying the experience!
The cast were quite credible I especially thought the John Hurt played his role beautifully, like the old stager he is :-)
Both Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz put in good performances. But the accents? Oh Boy?
My favorite scene was when the Italians marched on the Town Hall and demanded a surrender! You gotta watch it just for that scene.
Rating it a solid 8 out of 10, well worth a watch!

Wizard of Oz

This would have to be my Classic Movie! It was the first movie I ever watched in a 'cinema' and it was my first color movie, even though it started in Black and White!
 I must have been about 6 years old and my 'big' sister took me and my niece into the City, to see this great Movie.
Amazing when it went from Black and White to Color!
Every year I still sit down at Christmas (don't know why Christmas) with my family and watch the movie.
Everyone cheers when that Wicked Witch just melts into the floor.
What do you think is it really a classic or is it just me?

Battleground

Battleground was the first war movie that I saw when I was growing up as a kid. Scared the hell out of me to think that humans could be so cruel to each other!

G'day everyone.
I'm a bit upset today! Want to know why? Well even if you don't here goes anyway :-)
As you can tell I put advertising on my blog to try and earn a bit of spare cash. An old guy like me has to get a few cents where he can OK!
Having said that I am very selective on which Advertisements I put on my Blog. I hope that the ads make good reading for the people who visit me here at GreyPower Times.
Ok now to cut to the chase: I have had a comment from a youngster called Ben and he has thrown down the challenge that an Advertiser on GreyPowerTimes is a 'scammer' and to quote Ben

"These people are scammers, theifs and will steal from you. They do not provide promised services and do not give refunds".

Well I feel that it is very easy to make these types of accusations without offering any proof and although I have had no personal dealing with this particular company I have not uncovered any evidence that what Ben is saying about iMegaHost can be substantiated!
This is where you guys come in, has anyone had dealing with iMegaHost and if so would they like to comment here and let us all know what they think about the company.
